What kind of accuracy can reasonably be expected from a well-regulated mechanical clock?
I have a spring-driven bracket clock with a so-called free floating balance (if the latter means anything to you, so much the better). No pendulum though. It isn't very old (1930s?), and seems to be in a good to mint condition. It loses about 15 seconds a day, or between 1-1/2 and 2 minutes per week. I'd like to know if this is a poor, average, or good performance for this type of clock. I know that it will never attain quartz-like accuracy, but I'm OK with that.

Since the clock is not a chronograph, and not pendulum regulated that is considered good accuracy.
