Due to the times, it seems I can't have a removable face plate cd radio re-installed. Even without the detachable face plate, there are ways to get them on the internet. I want a stereo am-fm-cd with cassette, or am-fm-cd player for my car. I need, a slide mounting bracket, where I have to remove the radio every single night. This bit of inconvenience is well worth it. Does any store, person, or installation place do the slide-mount or bracket mount stereos anymore? I realize I'd have to re-program a clock and so on. But, in 6 months, I've been through 2 cars and 3 stereos.

I already own a very nice repro Station Clock. Hangs by a wall bracket.but with U.S.inscription (Central station) on Face..would like to find same clock with British Station Inscription (example Kensington) would like to find online supplier in U.K or Europe.any help appreciated

I have a spring-driven bracket clock with a so-called free floating balance (if the latter means anything to you, so much the better). No pendulum though. It isn't very old (1930s?), and seems to be in a good to mint condition. It loses about 15 seconds a day, or between 1-1/2 and 2 minutes per week. I'd like to know if this is a poor, average, or good performance for this type of clock. I know that it will never attain quartz-like accuracy, but I'm OK with that.

It says on the product description that a low profile bracket is not included. But when i type in low profile bracket into google they all look different... So here is the product spec. I was recently given a rather heavy wood clock as a graduation present and wish to hang it in my apartment. However, the apartment i live in has metal studs, not wood ones, so i can't just drill into one of those to mount the clock. I've heard that there are special brackets for mounting heavy items on drywall, but I've searched both Home Depot and Lowe's and could not find anything. Has anyone heard of brackets like these, or have another solution for mounting my clock on drywall?

I have been set the task of designing a Craft and Design (Standard Grade SQA) mini-project that should last 6 - 9 hours in the classroom. The problem is, the design should relate to the things that are relevant to teenagers, and will stimulate them, unlike the acrylic clock project and the hanging basket bracket that kids seem to be making all over Scottish Schools. I had the thought of designing something to do with TV, the internet, MP3, etc, but have hit a dead end. This is a purely quantative survey, so the more answers, the better. Thanks all. R
